Abstract

One of the most frequently encountered tumors arising on the lips is squamous cell carcinoma. Tiny and superficial lesions involving the vermillion border of the lower lip are easily amenable to elliptical excision. However, advanced squamous
cancer of
the lower lip should be reconstructed by flap techniques. The techniques are reviewed and discussed in this article. We describe two patients who were treated by Webster and Karapandzic techniques.
